Starting Your NVQ

During the NVQ
The NVQ is completed by completing the steps below using our easy online portfolio system.
- Show your expertise by answering questions – you can type your answers or give them verbally to your assessor.
- Get a witness testimony from your manager or supervisor. We will give you the document for them to complete.
- Write 2 case studies about your day to day role and experience.
- Gather evidence of your work, For example, risk assessments, Safety Audits, COSHH Details, CPD records, meeting minutes and other documentation.
- Have a professional discussion with your assessor, this may be done with a video call.
Completing Your NVQ Qualification
If you put in the work with your assessor and gather the correct evidence the course can be completed as quickly as 8 weeks. You will then receive your NVQ diploma which is approved by CITB.
