The NPORS Abrasive Wheels training course provides candidates with the skills needed for the safe mounting and selection of Abrasive Wheels and Cutting Discs to the official NPORS standards.
This NPORS course covers both practical and theoretical aspects of abrasive wheels and cutting discs with the NPORS test at the end.
To complete the course you need a CITB Health Safety and Environment test (known as the touch screen test) dated within the last 2 years.

NPORS Abrasive Wheels Training Course Assessment
Candidates will take a verbal theory test, and complete a practical assessment. Successful candidates will receive a NPORS Operator Card which lasts for 5 years.
Who Should Attend?
This NPORS Abrasive Wheels course is suitable for those for those who operate, supervise or manage the use of abrasive wheels and are looking to obtain their NPORS Operator Card.

After booking your course please let us know if you require the NPORS/CSCS Card (required for construction industry) or the traditional NPORS card (suitable for sectors other than construction).
For entrants that wish to apply for the NPORS Traditional Card, there is no requirement to do an NVQ qualification.
All operators who require the NPORS/CSCS card must have completed the CSCS HSE Operatives touch screen test within the last 2 years.

When will my certificate be issued?
On successful completion of the course candidates will receive a certificate of attendance.
When will I receive my joining instructions?
You will receive course joining instructions 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement. If you book within this 7 to 10 time period then your joining instructions are emailed within 24 hours of when your booking was placed.
What time does the course start?
Start and finish times are confirmed on your joining instructions.
What happens if I don't pass the course?
In the unlikely event you fail the course our team will contact you to discuss your options. We won't leave you high and dry, we'll find the best way for you to achieve the qualification required in the quickest way possible.
