The First Aid at Work (FAW) training course covers the practical skills needed by first aiders in the workplace and gives candidates the ability to handle with first aid emergencies.

During the course you will cover the following topics:
Assess and prioritise a first aid incident
Deal with an unconscious casualty
Carry out resuscitation (CPR)
Control bleeding and manage shock
Deal with injuries to bones, muscles and joints
Deal with a casualty suffering burns and scalds
Manage eye injuries
Deal with casualties overcome by fumes or suffering from poisoning

How Long Does The Course Take?
This is a 3 day course
Assessment & Certification
Delegates will be assessed via continuous trainer observation and written assessments.
After successfully completing the course you will receive your First Aid at Work Certificate. This is valid for three years.

Course joining instructions are sent 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement. If you book within this 7 to 10 time frame then they are emailed within 24 hours of the booking being placed.
