How Long Does The Course Take?
This is a 1 day CITB course
Assessment & Certification
At the end of the CITB SSSTS Refresher course delegates are required to sit an exam paper consisting of 25 questions. Certification is issued by the CITB - Construction Industry Training Board (Site Safety Plus)
Who Is This SSSTS Refresher Course For?
This course is for you if you have a current SSSTS certificate which is due to expire.
To attend this course you must have a current in date SSSTS certificate or a confirmation email from CITB giving an extension.
Claiming a CITB Grant
For companies that are CITB registered it is possible to claim £35 for each delegate who completes this SSSTS refresher course. In order for the grant to be claimed the company name and CITB levy number must be included on the delegates information form which is completed before the course starts.

When will my certificate be issued?
After you successfully complete the course we will request your certification from CITB. Certificates usually take between 6-8 weeks to be issued.
When will I receive my joining instructions?
You will receive course joining instructions 7 to 10 days prior to course commencement. If you book within this 7 to 10 time period then your joining instructions are emailed within 24 hours of when your booking was placed.
Will my lunch be provided?
The joining instructions will explain if your lunch is provided for the duration of your course.
What time does the course start?
Start and finish times are confirmed on your joining instructions.
What happens if I don't pass the course?
In the unlikely event you fail the course our team will contact you to discuss your options. We won't leave you high and dry, we'll find the best way for you to achieve the qualification required in the quickest way possible.
